Rate the Summerland Tour Bands (Lava Cantina, 7/10/16)

Place them in the order of who you want to see. For me:
1. Sponge
2. Everclear
3. Lit
4. Sugar Ray
Kind of hope Sugar Ray plays last so I can either leave or stop worrying about who's playing.

This is a big show for Lava Cantina, though they said its gonna be more of a block party. Not sure how that's gonna work in Perkins Rowe. Sugar Ray is headlining btw.

I got sent home from school in 1996 for wearing an Everclear shirt. I'm not too proud to admit it.

I agree I think Everclear is better than all those bands. They are a guilty pleasure 90s band for me, although I don't think theyre too bad

Haha. I can't really argue with that but I'm going to go just to get hammered and relive the low-rent side of the 90s. Maybe heckle Mark McGrath a little. See if Lit still tries to pogo during "My Own Worst Enemy".

The set up will be like the Bret Michaels show. The street between Lava Cantina and the hospital. 1,200 tickets sold.

I saw this tour about 4 years ago and it was Lit, Gin Blossoms, Sugar Ray, then Everclear. Lit was ok, not that great. Gin Blossoms were very good. Sugar Ray was AWESOME. I was very surprised, but they put on a very enjoyable and fun show. Everclear was pretty good.

Ever clear sparkle and fade is one of my all time favorite albums of my formative years. Before they became such giant mopey pussies, they were a really fun band. Lit put on a great show at the HOB back when I was in college in early 2000s. Probably don't hold up very well now but they brought it. Sugar ray just seems like an overplayed caricature of themselves at this point. I'd see sponge.
