Enjoyed that. 8/10

BOC - The Great Sun Jester

They have killed the great sun jester
Who danced between the stars
They have stripped him of his manhood
Signs of Venus and of Mars
The cynics left him weeping
And the jackals left him torn
And the jester reaches out bind hands
He can touch the stars no more.

6/10.

Needs more cowbell. Classic BOC.

Pedro the Lion - June 16, 1976

If you're in a certain frame of mind, you'll need some tissues.

6.5/10 Pretty good, but it never totally grabbed me. I could probably use another listen or two though to get the lyrics better.

Blur has always been hit and miss with me.

Far - When I Could See

This band gets labeled emo, but they're very different to me.

6/10 I could see this growing on me. I can see the emo element, but I agree it's different.

I liked it. Nice spacey vibe. Kind of reminded me of Red House Painters and Galaxie 500. Would be good music to fall asleep to (I don't mean that as an insult).

9/10 - I love Emergency & I and "!". Never listened to Change but the Dismemberment Plan has such an awesome sound. Really dig this track.

7/10 sounds like a cross of Smashing Pumpkins and New Order. Love the music, but the vocals are the only thing keeping me from loving the song.

Trani is the tits! Best Kings of Leon song imo (yes, KOL were actually great once upon a time). That live version is not the best, so I could see why you weren't impressed.

I posted that version for one reason, the complete losing of his shite by the bass player near the end of the song.

Porcupine Tree (9/10) - I like it! That's the kind of alt rock I like!

I'm going to throw out a new song from an old school band, I really dig this song:

I like the intro and the refrain much better than the chorus
guitar solo nice, good ending 8.0

8/10 Wonderful song. I have never heard of this band, yet it's made up of some stars of the 70's. I dug this a lot.

Skunk Anansie - Secretly You have to skip to the 0:55 mark for the start of the song. I absolutely lover her voice. It's so fricking strong! Their heavy stuff is great too. Seriously, she may be the best female rock vocalist. The 4:03 mark is simply stunning vocals
