The answer is he doesn't have a workout playlist. Somebody asked him and he grabbed a bunch of random songs so he wouldn't look like a doofus. Instead, he ended up looking more like a doofus.

An oldie but a goodie:

George W. Bush's iPod (2005)

Centerfield John Fogerty
Brown Eyed Girl Van Morrison
New Biography Van Morrison
Circle Back John Hiatt
El Paso The Gourds*
Swinging From The Chains Of Love Blackie And The Rodeo Kings
The House Is Rockin' Stevie Ray Vaughan
Valley Road James Mcmurtry
Say It Ain't So The Thrills
My Sharona The Knack
Castanets Alejandro Escovedo*
(You're So Square) Baby, I Don't Care Joni Mitchell
Gone Pecan Sonny Landreth
Rock 'n' Roll Hootchie Coo Johnny Winter
Adios Mexico Texas Tornados
Why David Baerwald
Road To Hell Chris Rea
Hey, Hey, Hey Stevie Wonder
Layla Eric Clapton
Real Emotions Los Lonely Boys
Simply Irresistible Robert Palmer
Firecracker Bryan Adams
Jacob's Ladder Huey Lewis and the News
You Make My Dreams Come True Hall And Oates

*Most surprising songs on the list (allegedly added by one of his staffers). Escovedo stopped performing the classic and unjustly obscure "Castanets" for a couple of years in protest of GWB liking it.

Regardless of political differences, I always thought W would be an alright guy to hang out with. He would have been a great president of a small town bank. He was just in over his head as POTUS.

I think somebody knocked it on the head when they said, his list was probably songs he has been listening to since college. He doesn't seem be to interested in developing a musical aptitude. Also, I agree they have some good songs on the list, but as a workout list it's trash.

How does any of that music help with a work out?

Call me crazy, but I actually have "fix you" on my workout playlists. The bridge to that song makes me push harder than any other song

I couldn't work out to that but I'd let him control the radio on a road trip.
