of course GD and ABB are tied at the top. after that, if feel like the rankings are all of opinion. if you like GD more than ABB then you prob like phish more than panic and the other way around. get dmb off the list. my arbitrary list:
tier 1: GD and ABB
tier 2: phish, panic, cheese, government mule, bisco
tier 3: STS9, Moe, Umps.
tier 1: GD and ABB

I think there are only two tiers.
Tier 1 - GD, ABB, Phish, Widespread Panic(Pre July 2002. they suck since Mikey died)
Tier 2 - everyone else, and they all suck.
Mule isn't a jamband in my world.

Just some more evidence that ABB is a jam band. Go listen to the live version of "You Don't Love Me" from 1971. It is almost 20 minutes long of jamming.

I haven't followed the Mule in years but when Allen Woody was alive they jammed a lot more than the Allman's ever did. They both play the same kind of music, Mule is just heavier.

Warren Haynes is a god. he is one of the greatest guitarist out on tour right now in the jam scene.
