I’m just getting into them. I think it’s pretty well accepted that “White Pony” is their best but rank their albums if you could.

They're one of those bands that just don't put out a bad album. Their weakest in my opinion is Diamond Eyes, but it's still a good album.
My favorite is Koi No Yokan. To me its all their best work coming together at the same time.

Saturday Night Wrist isn't bad...it's just not good.
Hole in the Earth and Riviere are the only songs I go back to on that album.

This is true.
Everyone has a different opinion too. Already people ITT have said SNW and Diamond Eyes are their weakest, but those are two of my favorites.
I think Diamond Eyes is their most coherent, complete album.
Gore is their weakest for me. I don't really think it's bad, but I never find myself wanting to listen to it.

None are bad albums. SNW is the least complete album imo but contains "Kimdracula" which is my favorite Deftones song.

There are plenty of really good songs on that album as well. It's hard to rank everything from first to worst as they all have something, and they're all different.
My favorites from SNW are Beware and Xerces. Took me awhile to like the song, but Combat was the last one.

My answer is Around The Fur and then others TBD. I’m a little behind apparently.

It's true they are hard to rank and all are good
I'm listening to Koi now and I just love it, that and diamond eyes swap places on my list a lot bc I love that one too.
White pony is just a masterpiece
SNW and self titled were the era where the band had tension and were fragmented in production sending stuff via email to produce it and that's why I put them low bc you can feel the disconnect in those albums but they are not "bad"

This is so damn hard, because Deftones are known for having two distinct components to their sound: 1) their heavy, guitar-driven style from their nu metal roots, and 2) their atmospheric, ambient, and borderline art rock style beginning on White Pony. Some days, it's hard to say which style I prefer the most.
Honestly, my top-4 alternates from day-to-day, with the exception of the top spot (forever White Pony).
The way I see it, Deftones released four exceptional records that encompass the entirety of their unique style and talent. The other four records aren't terrible, per se, but they each seem to have much more lackluster tracks. Oddly enough though, some of my favorite Deftones singles are from that latter group of records (e.g., "Minerva", "Hearts/Wires", "Bored", etc.).
