It's been a while since I've been to a concert and I'm not too familiar with the iphone apps. I have the ticketmaster app on my phone and I have the ticket and the ticket barcode. I just really don't want to screw this up but can they just scan the barcode on my phone to get in?

I loved the story a guy wrote about running into Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood in a vintage keyboard store in Austin during ACL last year. He had the sense not to be a jackass (even though he was wearing a Radiohead T-shirt) and ended up talking to the band for a while about gear and even played music with them.

Yeah, me too. A friend of a friend was playing pool at Brothers III on Magazine Street some years ago and Bob Dylan got in a game with him. That would be real tough to shoot pool with Dylan and not be an absolute dork. I get the feeling he wouldn't mind a little good natured shite talking -- just nothing to call attention to him.
