it's going to be a great scene in there with zZz from Holland starting the festivities. As a matter of fact the neighborhood is full of good music with Daniel Johnston playing an early show just down the street at the Moon at 7.

Going up against Daniel Johnston prob hurt them... most people prob dont go to two shows in one night...

Surprised that the show didn't have a bigger crowd. They've done surreal salon and played in front of a big crowd in BR a couple of years ago.

BR has more of a singer/songwriter (read:boring) market than an alternative one.

Eh, quintron isn't that well known.
They are pretty niche.
But you are right about BR being much more singer songwriter friendly. Certainly more than Nola is.
