Local band from back in the day that was always a huge draw at the clubs. Always loved George's voice. Just sharing a memory, anybody remember:

Louisisana Rock & Roll

Cheer

Cheer is a fine tune. Still sounds good today...50 years later. Damn.

Posted this before. George Ratzlaff's performance still brings tears to my eyes.

Please someone teach me how to play this.

I still play my extremely worn-out copy of Levee Blues at high volume! It will bring you:

My dad was a huge fan of theirs and put together some of their recordings as gifts for people. He was super excited about it.

A few months later he took me to the dealership to pick up a new car since I wasn’t trading. He sat there quiet through the close and then asked if his name was so and so (jerry something I think) and he said yes. He wound up being the drummer

My bro' had all of their records, and I actually saw them (with the Copas Brothers and The Charley Pappy Band) in the parking lot of Southdowns Lounge in the 1970's.
