I am pretty glad that we did the party bus. We had a group of about 15 people on it so the party was still there. You could bring your ice chests on there and what not. We didn't have to worry about a damn thing. Rolled up to the show at about 6 and things started to kick in so we hung out with some people by the roundabout for maybe 10 minutes and went into the venue.

A $25 free-for-all without having to worry about a sober driver was a steal imo.

Thats what we did for Dicks last year. Makes everything so much easier when you dont have to worry about a driver, and all your friends are already in one spot.

I stayed at my friend's house which was only about 3/4 of a mile away from The Wharf. It was pretty clutch. I also was able to leave my car in the lot overnight with no issues (the next morning there was tons of cars out there). The walk back to her neighborhood was a breeze. My only complaint was it took Domino's three hours to deliver us pizza

Weak stuff last night. Probably the least enjoyable of the 15 or shows I've been to.

Obviously there were some really good bustouts, but the continuity and flow last night was definitely lacking.

I'm not even sure all what happened after we got back. I know we cooked some ribs earlier that day so those were gone by time the morning came. I vaguely remember a snowstorm settling in at some point.

I woke up at 9 AM sitting straight up in a chair outside

Yeah, I don't feel too bad about selling my Alpharetta ticket. I was dead after the 2 Bama shows. Surprised they dropped such an average show at Alpharetta and didn't do anything special. It was definitely a unique setlist, but I don't think it was necessarily a good one.

There was a lot more room in the pit tonight than Friday night.

Ya'll looked pretty spread out to me in the pit at wharf.

I met Gordo's wife, Sue, in the owner's suite.

She was cool. My wife and her friend know nothing about the band and I think that Sue overheard them say they wanted to hear bouncin'. Sue came back after encore and asked if they were glad they got to hear it. My wife thinks she went back and told them to play it for first encore. I doubt that is what happened. Anyway, here's the view from the suite. Very cool and open bar ALL night.

I'm so upset I couldn't make it to either of the Bama shows.

Glad I came home then

Seemed like a normal first set. A bit jammier than most if anything.

Ya, not many first sets have a type 2 jam like that in it.

Gin & Gumbo were the only shimmers of light in that first set. There were a couple good moments, no doubt. But as a whole set, it was very disappointing.
