I went to Ole Miss/LSU in oxford and sat in my friends season tickets seats. Band plays dixie. LSU guy stands up and puts his camo hat over his chest. Wife punches him in the leg and says "sit down"
He never looks down and says "don't worry, honey. it's a black/white thang."

This is the original version of the song. But before it was released the record company got worried that some people would be offended by black men singing:
