Toto
Hold The Line
During the guitar solo, you can hear someone yell loudly. It’s buried in the mix but it’s there.

There’s a vocal flubb near the beginning of Eminence Front

The first time I ever heard Saturday Night Special I thought the cd was skipping during the instrumental break

There's an old Hall & Oates song from about '78 called "I don't Want To Lose You", where during the saxophone solo, you can actually hear where Charlie Dechant's solo is actually spliced.

Great song, but it's really noticeable and kind of ruins the tune.

In Tool’s “Sober” at somewhere around the 4:00 mark, if I am listening at a really high volume, I can hear a voice in the background that always makes me think that someone is behind me trying to talk to me. It’s a bit freaky.

John Bonham’s squeaky kick drum pedal in “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long”.

At the beginning of Tom Petty’s Even the Losers there is some jumbled noise followed by a female voice saying “It’s just the normal noises in here” before the song kicks in. LINK

Another Zep one is the being of Black Country Woman: "At the beginning of the track, sound engineer Eddie Kramer can be heard saying, "Don't want to get this airplane on," to which Robert Plant replies "Nah, leave it, yeah.""

Smashing Pumpkins - Mayo

One of my faves from SD.

Anyway, during the riff in the chorus, there is what sounds like a harmonic pick, but it isn't. It's actually bc his guitar was a POS and wouldn't hit the note he wanted, but he liked the way it sounded, so it stayed and is repeated throughout the song.

"When I can....(guitar frick up)...I will"

That squeaky drum pedal drives me crazy. I also really am annoyed that they sped up Plant's vocals on Song Remains the Same for some reason (and then buried them in In the Evening).

Not sure this exactly fits the thread, but I almost threw MBV’s Loveless cd in the garbage after the first time I listened to it. I was sure that I’d gotten a defective disc.
