Palms - New album from Thrice

Really digging some of these tracks. Blood on Blood and Beyond The Pines are a cut above, My Souls and the first 3 tracks are really good, and Hold the Light blows.

I really like Only Us, The Grey, and The Dark. The rest of the album seems like it heads a different direction and I couldn’t get into any of the songs on my first listen. I’ll revisit eventually. I just got tickets for their show in Houston on the 25th.
Will this ever happen?

one of my favorite bands ever, but i didn't particularly like the last album and this one seems kinda disappointing. i thought everything they did before TBEITBN was great.

Everything since the artist in the ambulance has been average for astalented musically as this band is, IMO

I've loved everything they've put out. Love the different styles and sounds with each record, even if Illusion through Vheissu is my "wheelhouse."
Hold The Light is absolutely positively the worst song theyve ever done
going to philly to visit a friend and we're gonna go to the show up there. almost bought houston tix as well.
ETA: give My Soul, Blood on Blood, and Beyond The Pines a shot. Took a few listens and I fell in love
