Yeah I remember Staley rolling around in a wheelchair on stage too.
We took a beer break between sets and almost missed Ozzy's first tune. Heard the crowd and the first notes of Paranoid, said 'Oh crap' and hustled back down to the floor...I also seem to recall Ozzy tossing buckets at the crowd, can't remember if it was water or just confetti...

Saw Ozzie in concert in 1992 with Alice In Chains when I was in the military. One thing about Ozzie that man is a entertainer he cussed like a sailor and got the crowd involved. I loved that concert. I also saw the opening concert of the Gun n roses/Metallica tour at RFK Stadium in Washington DC that same year. fricking Awesome year and memories.

July 4th, 1989 at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport, NY. You know it's summer when they're rocking in Weedsport. Outdoors, general admission, I got there early and was one of the first people in. Sprinted to the stage and spent the entire show front and center on the barricade. Got hit full in the face with a bucket of Ozzy water and then he stood over me laughing about it.

This tour was the second time I saw Ozzy. At the Memphis Pyramid with Layne Staley in a wheelchair.

My nephew, probably 5 at the time, saw him on TV and asked my Mom:

"Mawmaw who turned that man into a toad?"

Ozzy said it was alive. The guy who brought it said it had been dead for a while.
