Like with most music, today has more bad and good music.

Before streaming, there were extensive barriers to entry. Now, anyone can record music and release it.

So there is a lot of bad music that never would have been released 30 years ago. But there is also a lot of good music that never would have been released 30 years ago.

I cannot stand 90's country. It made me hate country music and overshadowed actual good country music. The shite on 90's country radio is the worst. Bro country is about as bad.

No different than any other genre. If you look hard enough you can find something you like.

If we're talking mainstream stuff, the mid-90's definitely had it's fair share of bad country, but you also had people like George Strait, Clint Black, and other big stars putting out classics that were huge at the time and still hold up well.
