43 years later it still stands the test of Time..

For you Floyd trivia folks - actress Naomi Watts' ( ) parents are featured in the talking segments of the album. Peter Watts was Floyd's road manager and provides the maniacal laughter for the record. Puddie Watts provides the line about the "geezer" who was "cruisin' for a bruisin'."

The more you know, right?

In the late 70s I was an ER nurse working nights . My BF would get toasted, call me at work and hold the phone up to the stereo speaker while this was playing full blast. Good times.

Great year for music. Was listening to a classic station the other day while driving alone. They played songs from that year.

I heard:

Money-Pink Floyd
Lagrange-ZZ Top
D'Yer Maker-Led Zeppelin
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road-Elton John
Band On The Run-Paul McCartney & Wings
The Joker-Steve Miller Band
Rocky Mountain Way-Joe Walsh
Takin' Care Of Business- Bachman Turner Overdrive
Hollywood Swinging-Kool and the Gang
Free Bird-Lynyrd Skynyrd

Yes it is. It's one of my favorites, and Time is my all time favorite song.
