Up in this bitch.
Not even old but my peers are definitely not bumping this. Dude kills it.
GZA - General Principles
Honestly you could play almost any Wu track and 99% of the time it is stone cold. Hard to believe they don't get more love.
Ghostface KIllah - Assasination Day
Mase is nothing special here, but in the second verse L goes off.
Big L, Mase - Uptown Connection

1st 1 I thought of posting was Colors, but you took care of that in OP.
I used to watch Yo! MTV raps at 9am, then record on vhs my favs when it re-aired at 9pm. Lots of nwa, ice-t, kool moe dee, big daddy cane, eric-b & rakim. I wish I still had that tape, and a vcr
Ice-T Power was the 1st casette tape I ever bought. My brother had to by it, bc I was too young. Good thread.

Ice-T: "6 in the Mornin'" This is one of the corner stones of gangsta/hardcore rap Anytime you young uns hear the phrase "6 in the mornin" in a rap song, this is what it refers to.
Ice-T: "Midnight" The prequel to "6 in the Mornin'" Ice-T was rapping about this kind of stuff when Boosie was still shittin' his pants (of course, Ice-T wasn't actually killing people...
