I'm an old fart and still love rock . . . but I love all kinds of music.
I saw Jimi Hendrix live.
I saw the Allman Bros. with Duane and Berry.
I've seen the Stones, I believe, 7 times.
And many, many more (Neil Young, Petty, Harrison, McCartney, Grateful Dead, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, etc)
Also went to the original "outlaw country" festival (Willie's first Fourth of July Picnic) in Dripping Springs, TX and saw Willie, Waylon, Tom T. Hall, Kris, et al.
Etc, etc.
BUT I've also gone to see NIN, Arcade Fire, The Kills, Jack White, Pearl Jam, Decemberists, Foo Fighters, STP, etc, etc.
And I'm trying to discover new music. It's harder because I'm busy, but I'll never quit listening or quit going to shows.

I'm 42 and will never ever get tired of hard rock...
I am a tad bit older and love harder rock, but my taste runs the gamut and can find a song or two in any genre I like. I like harder rock with an edge as my favorite though.
Right now, listening to some old school Commodores...Sometimes it's nice to slow it down.
Flying high.

I'm 45 and listen almost exclusively to indie rock on Sirius XMU. I believe my taste in music is exponentially greater than the shitty music my kids listen to.

I was reading this from my phone and that was what I first thought that I had read.

Dude it is fine to be old and still rock.
I am 45 and still go to the all day rock and roll festivals.
I can listen to KISS and Zep as well as Halestorm and Stone Sour.
Dont let anyone tell you to stop rocking. I just got back from Staind/Godsmack and Halestorm and I wasnt close to be the oldest one there.
And now I have my 11 year old son rocking.
Keep on rocking dude!!
