Definitely good for the "scene" in BR. There's no reason a city as big as Baton Rouge isn't pulling in better talent and I think this guy will help that problem.

well the thing is, there's no reason the bands shouldn't be able to play nola AND BR on their tours.
BR has been skipped over for years by a lot of bands because of the old talent buyer

Didn't Live Nation cut HOB's budget last year? I noticed they haven't been bringing in nearly as many big names as they used to. Maybe Varsity can pick up their slack now.
