It’s actually damn good. A huge upgrade over the last few projects.

Very refreshing to hear this out of The Strokes. It's been a long time since they've given us an album like this. I'm enjoying this one a lot.

Never thought I’d see the day where Pitchfork gave the new Phish album a better rating than the new Strokes album. Still looking forward to giving this a listen though.

Gotta agree with many here. This album is refreshing for a strokes fan. They stay true to form but bring in good stuff.

Used to be my favorite band, every album since their hiatus has sucked horribly. So disappointing.

I’ll give this one a try based off some of the responses in this thread

Wonder when their show at the Saenger will be re-scheduled. Had a couple good tickets

A few listens in and am really enjoying this. Very happy with this release from a band that shaped my adolescence.

Just checked it out fricking love it like I loved angles. Consistent rock your face off and pull the emotional strings. Classic album, love it.

Man I’m digging this new one, from start to finish. I’ve noticed the end of these songs are really good. Lol. Strange

I heard the Dixie Chicks are aiming for a comeback. Bet you are pumped for that.

Julian’s voice has really matured. He handles the falsetto nicely multiple times. Good record, and I hadn’t really liked anything since First Impressions...

I’ve listened front to back about 20 times, there’s not a bad song. Ironically the only song I’ve heard in the radio is my least favorite, bad decisions. Go figure

As someone who was pretty lukewarm on "Is This It", this album is really, really good. I definitely like it better than their debut.

Stahp.

I’ve got to admit. I’m an old school fan. I was in high school when This Is It came out. I still think it’s fantastic. I liked Room on Fire and i thought Angles was good.

This seems like its trying hard to be progressive or something I’m just not feeling. Maybe it’ll grow on me after first listen. “Bad decisions” has a really modern English vibe

I love this band and I’m trying to like this album

I fricking love this album. I don’t remember the last album that I’ve listened to front to back like this one.

I guess this is why they were booking shows this year. I was so excited to see them at Shaky Knees in a couple weeks.
