I would kill to see them live.

Drove to Houston to see them like 2-3 years ago maybe? Insane show, one of the best I've ever seen.
Saw them in NO when they opened for Slayer a long arse time ago, maybe like 1999 when Slayer was on the Diabolus tour and Meshuggah was supporting Chaosphere? Had no idea how great they were at the time.

I understand that they are thrash royalty, but the idea of Meshuggah opening for Slayer sans-Lombardo absolutely floors me.
Also, I just realized that Meshuggah played the House of Blues in 2008 on the ObZen Tour...I almost want to jab a dagger in my head when I think that both Meshuggah and Opeth have played New Orleans in the last eight years and I was ignorant about both bands at the time.

They opened for Ministry in 2008. It was supposed to be Ministry's last tour. Meshuggah was just alright. Ministry was amazing.
