Been meaning to get to this one. I've been a listener of Jurado's since Ghost of David. I think his output from Caught In the Trees until now has all been superb. Looking forward to listening to his newest one.

Listened to this one a couple of times. Awesome album.
Great to see his progression from his early stuff - Water Ave S through And Now That I'm in Your Shadow were barebones, low-fi, just him an a guitar for the most part. Gut wrenching broken hearted shite.
I think then he remarried. Caught in the Trees, Saint Bartlett and Maraqopa were all more upbeat with a lot more production. Love them all.

He was fantastic at M+W a few years ago ... The moon should make a run at him. My new project in the beatnik space won't be open for a bit
