i'm not sure iconic because their style was all over the board

first song off the top of my head would have been Going Down to Florida

I believe it's Moving to Florida. That album didn't get any radio time. 1983, 1984. If you didn't know who they were, you never heard that song.

I was going to put Who Was in My Room Last Night?

But Pepper was on the radio every five minutes back in 1996, 1997 when it was released. It was also number one on the Billboard Charts at one point. More people have heard it.

Toadies- Possum Kingdom
Better Than Ezra- Good
The Nixons- Sister

And it’s a shame most people only know them for these songs because they all have huge catalogs

Grew up with Joel Rundell

i knew he was different in 6th grade when he was rocking checkered vans and when we had a class party, he brought the B52s and played Rock Lobster for the class.

it was a different time back then, that album had literally just come out and it blew my mind when he put it on the turntable.

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

I think it could be argued that "Wish You were here" is more of a fan favorite than Comfortably Numb

Not my first choice but the country sound of WYWH probably gained more popularity with the masses. Comfortably Numb is by far a better song in my opinion
