You start acting like a tool anytime a jam band is mentioned in a thread and the shite gets old. Like I've said earlier I like you as a poster. Without you I wouldn't have heard Cory Branan's or American Aquarium's new albums. We share a lot of the same tastes but your hostility regarding anything in the same spectrum of jam bands is getting fricking tiresome.

You start acting like your opinion regarding these subjects are the definitive authority and that you're more important than the rest of us. Which leaves the rest of us thinking just who in the frick you think you are.

You want people to actually give a frick what you say? Stop acting like a tool in threads like this.

Primus is definitely not a jamband.

If anything the people in the jamband scene have gravitated toward them because they play festivals that are jamband heavy and Les did the Oysterhead side project with Trey and Stewart Copeland, but Primus is not and has never been a jamband.

Which means they are accepted into the jam band scene making them a jam band.

WSP HATES the term jam band. They prefer to be called a rock n roll band. Are you trying to tell me that they aren't a jam band now?

Man, have you ever listened to Primus?

Like.. Ever?

They are not a jam band. To suggest they are is completely ridiculous

It's the thought process because a band extends a song or two live that they are a jam band or part of the jam scene.

That thought process is completely foolish.

Well, using your logic, they also played h.o.r.d.e. festival, a jam band festival. Good call.

For future reference, can we please get a definition of a jam band? Nothing official, just an accepted (or majority accepted) TD MB definition of jam band

I don't consider DMB to be a jam band although they are a band that jams live.
