Not really I'm pretty in tune with today's music and I wasn't real familiar with mute math beyond the name

They chart higher, sell more records, play bigger shows, have more overall YouTube views, and play more festivals than seether.

Not to mention the numerous letterman, Leno, Conan performances.

Mutemath is a big deal y'all...

Even tough Seether is hot garbage they are definitely more well known than Mutemath.

This.

But I'm enjoying Doc telling everyone in here how wrong this is. Stupid.

I'm not saying they aren't. I also think it is a good pull for the varsity. I don't necessarily think it lives up to your hype but hey I can't fault you for that. I've heard you say repeatedly even before this that they were a favorite of yours.

Not get him to book The Decemberists and I'll get pumped with you

That is one show I would definitely drive two and a half hours to see. Mutemath? not so much.

Well that's not correct. Seether isn't more "well known" than mutemath.

Mutemath is everywhere.

NO, they arent. They are a mid lower tier alternative band who had one lukewarm minor hit in "Typical"

It would be a bigger deal if they weren't from new Orleans. I would expect them to visit BR quite frequently and the fact that they haven't been to the varsity before astounds me.

I didn't know they were from NOLA

speaking of Nola bands I would like to see The Revivalists at the varsity. Not sure if they have been or not before, I just started getting into them.

The revivialists aren't big enough for the varsity. Chelsea's would be a good spot for them though.

I honestly had no idea how big they are.

I love seeing bands at chelsea's anyway. I saw Tea Leaf Green there a few years back which I found odd. I thought they would've been bigger than that.

Which radio stations around here play them on a regular basis?
