Music Board Battle: Depeche Mode or The Cure? Which Band is Better?

Damn...this is extremely difficult to call.
The moment I think the answer is Depeche Mode an inner voice tells me, "But...but...what about the Cure album Disintegration? What about the song 'Burn' on The Crow soundtrack?" And then I start to question myself for initially choosing Depeche Mode.
I don't know.

Don't get me wrong. The Cure is one of my favorite bands. Top 10 for sure!
Hence why I can't decide between Depeche Mode and The Cure. Depeche Mode is also top 10 in my opinion.
I'm currently listening to "Everything Counts" by Depeche Mode and am about to set it on repeat. However, I've went thru periods of time when all I listened to for weeks was The Cure.
I'm just waiting for my Morrissey/Smiths binge to come soon. It's been a while...
