Anyone going to the concert Saturday?

The massive stage should decimate the already pathetic looking grass at Zephyr Field

Should be interesting. Allowing 7k on the field and 10k in the seats. Wonder how they're gonna police that.

Did anyone manage to stay awake for the whole show?

Did you go or just don't like their music?
I was wondering if the show was good or non memorable?

I thought the show itself was good, minus the fact they brought out Preservation Hall Jazz Band again. Same as 2013 show. Just overdone.
The setup was great out on the field and production was good.
Massive fail as far as beer/drink and ATM lines. Majority of the concessions were cash only and not sure they were prepared to serve 17,000 people.
As far as transportation it was a nightmare getting out of there if you didn't take your own vehicle. Ended up walking to West Metairie to get an Uber.

Pretty spot on analysis.
Once I heard special guests, I had a feeling it was going to be Preservation Hall and House of the Rising Sun again.
I can definitely see Zephyr field hosting more events like this in the future. And with more experience, I'm sure they can figure out concession sales and tickets.
We just walked around til we found individual beer sellers. The concession lines were unbearable. Our tickets weren't even scanned when we walked in, and they just took the physical copy. We could have easily just told others to print out copies of our tickets and the could have gotten in for free.
