I'm shocked this is coming to New Orleans. Considering Dave's recent cancer scare and how rarely Megadeth comes here, there's a good chance this could be the last time Megadeth plays this area.

I have a code for presale starting on the 13th. Hopefully I get one for tomorrow's presale too.

If you go to the megadeth website, 20 bucks gets you a digital membership and access to the presale tomorrow along with the VIP packages... the thing I hate about Ticketmaster though is that they never release all of the seats at once, and they always hold back great seats or price them under that bullshite platinum pricing.

Lol yeah really.

I saw LOG here at the Orpheum a few years back and I’m dying to see them again.

When was the last time Megadeth played in NOLA?

10 years ago with Slayer and Anthrax, also at Lakefront Arena. Megadeth played Rust in Peace all the way through. It was awesome. Last show in New Orleans before that was 1998.

I saw this tour in Dallas. Slayer played the entire Seasons in the Abyss album & Megadeth played the entire Rust in Peace album both start to finish in order. It was unreal. Just flawless by all the bands.

That was also Jeff Hanneman's last big tour before he got sick & the last full tour that all four original members of Slayer were together.

shite you got lucky. The only way to get on the floor and in the pit for the Atlanta show was to buy the meet and greet. Had no choice though cuz the step daughter is a massive megadeth fan and was dying to be in the pit and to meet the Daves. The credit card is screaming in pain right now.

I had to dig a little deeper to find a normal ticket but when I first logged on all they showed were the vip packages.

The way the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre is set up, the only floor tickets are the pit in front of the stage. Behind those are individual seats and then the lawn. You can only access the pit through a vip purchase and the the seats directly behind them get retarded because it’s more VIP and platinum seating pricing.
