MB Drummers, ever ordered from cymbal palace?

I've been looking for a new set of hats and found this place. Cymbal Palace
At first glance it APPEARS legit but I'm having a tough time finding legit reviews other than on ebay.
They have the set I want for about $100 less than musicians friend but I don't wanna get some fakes.

Don't know about them....I bought.. roughly $2000 worth of cymbals from cymbalsonly.com and they were great.

Hmm....never heard of Cymbal Palace. Looks legit, but, who knows? I'd be curious to know about your purchase experience, if you choose to buy from there...

Why don't you contact them if you have any questions? Google their place of business, parent company, domain registrar, all BBB ratings, etc.
On the surface looks legit and says they've been in biz since 2004...IMHO any company in America for nearly 10 years has not survived by passing along Zildjian knockoffs
FWIW I got all of my A customs off of CL for well over 1/2 off. My 18" projection crash was some prototype/demo and the guy I bought it from barely used it, so basically got a brand new A custom 18" crash for $140. Just peruse and be a smart buyer.

Oh yeah Craigslist has some nice deals occasionally. Just haven't seen what I'm wanting. I went ahead and ordered an A Crash so well see.

I called my buddy's dad about them. He said he has ordered from them before and that they're just what the site says...overstock and/or demo. They technically can't market them as new so yeah, they're "used".
He told me he ordered a sweet ride and a K Custom EFX and both were brand new as far as he could tell. No fingerprints, no stick marks, no signs of being hit, no signs of being mounted...nothing. Still have the sticker under the bell and the logos show no signs of wear. He's played for 40 or so years so I trust his opinion.
I just wish they had the 15" K Lights.
And I'd kill for this bad SOB

I'm sure you've seen Taylor Hawkins' setup for the current Foo Fighters album/tour. He's using an EFX and his drum tech turned his china-type into an EFX. I've never played an EFX, but I'm guessing that the drilling really dries out the sound, yes?

Mine is actually pretty similar to his old setup.

Yeah. There's an interview somewhere online with Yeti Ward (the tech) and he talks about it. He doesn't use the china a ton but it's really..really dry.
I got my crash in yesterday. Looks brand new, no marks, sticker remains, no signs of it even being mounted. Came with the little plastic bag as well. Seems legit to me.

Good news. Looks like it's time for me to piss off the wife by making an impulse buy...

I love having a "big boy job" and not being married
I'm pleased with them so far. I wanna order that 20" A Custom EFX but I broke my last one too fast.
I want some new hats SO bad but I can't find the K-Lights I want. Everywhere I look only has 14" and I want the 15".

The thing with the EFX wasn't hitting too hard, but just the wrong spots. I think every time I hit it, it hit it square on the oblong holes. It isn't BAD, just a couple of tiny hairline cracks...maybe 1/4"... coming off one or two of the oblong holes.

Ooh...yeah, I can see how that could happen. Those smartasses at Zildjian just can't leave well-enough alone, can they?
