Master P and Regional Sentimentality

Are the members of this board aware that Master P was utterly atrocious on every conceivable level?
Let me rephrase: the citizens of at least 49 States all received memoranda* clearly stating that Master P was in fact abjectly terrible -- the St. Ides of hip hop, but only if St. Ides tasted even worse.
Did that memo make its way down to Louisiana?

Oh, we got beef?
I represent the dirty south
For all my thugs and thugettes out there
Get rowdy rowdy, bout it bout it
Where the tru thugs at?
4 or 5 hummers, Burban, Jag for the summer
SS sittin 20's but I ain't no uptown stunter
Grab the gat, where they at, rat-tat-tat-tat
I represent the 3rd ward
You a rookie, I'm a vet, you the captain, I'm the crunch
You got that dinner, I got the lunch, hit the weed, pass the blunts
Your eyes red, you got the munchies
How you like me now, gold teeth when I smile

He taught a generation of white 12 year olds how to make crack (like this). What have you done with your life?

Better than 2 Chainz and the vast majority of today's rap. That said, yes, he was terrible.

your taste in music is horrible, you should just give up and stick with talk radio.

I'm not privy to this "2 Chainz" fella that everyone seems fond of discussing, but there are plenty of current rappers better than Master "windows so dark you need a flashlight to see me" P.

I don't think anyone is ever going to take you seriously Bobbyray. You seem to over exaggerate everything when it comes to music, and maybe that is intentional or you are just trolling. Was Master P the greatest rapper ever? Probably not. Did he produce some good songs? Sure (See Burbans and Lacs). He created his own style and brand of rap, and while it didn't last too long, it will forever be remembered for what it was.

ah no, you need to educate yourself, you are speaking on things you know nothing about. Master P is rich as frick and still doing all kinds of stuff. He was up here just the other day pitching another clothing line to Wal-Mart, his 3-4th one.
