Thinking about getting one to travel with, local pawn shop has one on the cheaps ($150).
Anyone here have any personal experience with one?

Is that one of those foldable guitar thingies?

My dad has one. It sounds funny to me but works if it's all you got.

I have one. It does its job. It's obviously not loud, but it's well made. I got mine for $100 about 5 or 6 years ago.

I've played it in the store. Sounds nice

I had one a few years ago and it does what it is suppose to do. The sound isn't all that great but you're most probably not worried about great sound when you're just practicing (I assume that's what you intend to do with it).
Price wise: if you decide to get it, negotiate it down to close to $100.00. You can pick up a brand new one for around $195.00.
There are better options out there when looking for a travel guitar. The Ultra Light Travel Acoustic Electric Guitar is a nice playing instrument in the $250.00 range. It's versatile and a lot more sturdy than the Martin.

I'd look around for a Baby Taylor or Little Martin, myself.

The Baby Taylor (U.S. model) is most probably the best value in the guitar world. I bought one for my grandson 2 years ago off of ebay and the sound is unbelievable. With that said, it really isn't a travel guitar; it only takes up a little less space a regular size guitar.

Are you thinking of The Big Baby? The baby is indeed much smaller than a full size guitar.

I'm in Thibodaux and I'll sell you mine for $100

This. You'll be happier in the long run and they're not that much more expensive, especially used.
