Macklemore + Ryan Lewis "Can't Hold Us" Video Released Today

Surprised no thread. I finally listened to the Heist album last week. I didn't know much about Macklemore. I'd seen his Mariners song video and thought it was really bad arse, but I didn't go dig up anything on him.
Saw he was performing on the MTV movie awards and I'm glad I checked that album out, it's pretty impressive. I'm glad they took the time to make it a masterpiece. I like RiFF Raff too after hating on him hard, but those guys put out so much crap just to be churning out new things.
Macklemore's a really refreshing hip hop artist and the videos of their live performances are great, hip hop live is usually the drizzling shits (such as Wu-Tang's Coachella set this weekend) but these guys really amp a crowd.

I'm still amazed people compare him to that Ashter Roth cat or whatever his name is... There was a thread a while back people saying he'll be a one hit wonder and is a gimmick rapper.
If you listen to the The Heist as a whole, he has some damn good songs on that album.

that is his best song IMO, but I'm not really a fan of the video.

Overall I really like album. There are a couple of songs and lyrics I don't agree with or care for, but for the most part its very well done.
