Luscious Jackson anyone?

Anyone into 90’s alternative music might recall them. Started early 90’s opening for the Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill. Moved squarely into the mid 1990’s alternative music trend.
One of their vocalists, Vivian Tremble passed away several years back.

I think they would've been bigger with a different name that didn't make you picture a large soul singer at a local nightclub.

I was a fan back in the day. They had deep ties with the Beastie Boys - Kate Schellenbach, their drummer, was actually in the Beastie Boys before Licensed to Ill came out. And they were one of the first bands on the Beastie Boys’ record label.
