Anyone else watching these guys on Youtube? It's a couple of guys who listen to an assortment of music(lots or metal and rock) and give their reactions. Kudos to them, as they do seem to be very open minded and frequently complimentary of the stuff they listen to .

I first heard about them when they did 46&2 by Tool. It's interesting as they tend to have little before-hand knowledge of the bands or artists. It creates an untinted reaction, but they sometimes miss the mark (Glenn Danzig must be a funny, light hearted jovial guy based on his Elvis like delivery)

I've enjoyed watching their stuff lately.

I got on a kick of watching black guys react to metal videos a few weeks ago. Its fun to see them enjoy something like that on first listen. Never would have guessed so many black guys would like Megadeth.

Yes! It's my favorite Youtube channel. These guys are funny, awesome and open-minded. IMO, they have developed an actual liking and appreciation of metal. They have crowned Metallica and Megadeth as the kings. I was surprised they didn't like Maiden (Hallowed Be Thy Name) that much. They seem to love Rush also.

For newer stuff, they love Gojira. My favorite moment of any of these reaction videos is the guy on the right's involuntary metal-face reaction to the breakdown during Flying Whales: video linked to exact point when he does it

1. First, I would like to say I LOVE YOU CRAZY MOTHERfrickERS!

2. When I wrote this song, the lyrics were inspired by coming home to my very close friends after achieving a tiny-arse bit of respect (before we were even "big") and I noticed they were treating me differently, as if I had, or was gonna change on 'em. And honestly, it fricking kinda hurt they would feel this way, talk shite, etc...so damn, I wrote this song for them!

3. I adore the fact you cats have an open minded opinion on music, because we ALL should! It's fricking healthy! I love all kinds of music, from almost every era, time, date and beyond. So Fellas, thanks again for the kind words, keep doing what you do, and I send my love, respect and praise to you both! Much love x's 2 + 100000000!
Philip H. Anselmo, singer from the now defunct Pantera
ps- Danny, formerly of NIN sent me this link, so props to him, as he is an awesome cat, and a wonderful friend to this very day. Peace!?

Got turned on to them randomly a few months ago when I watched their reaction to Rush's YYZ and I got a hell of a kick out of watching them.

They are by far the best of the bunch. I'm often shocked at how perceptive they are and how spot on their analysis is. You can tell they truly have an open mind about music.

I had no idea before I saw them that reaction videos were a thing at all other than the ones where they had young kids reacting to shite like Motley Crue and the like. There are some really incredibly lame imitators of Lost In Vegas on YouTube.

They are about the only reactors I have seen that do this who seem to be capable of making actual critical commentary while listening to the songs they react to. 95% of the clowns you see on YouTube doing this do not give you anything more in depth than "that guitarist is good" or "this has a good beat." These guys know their shite and can express it in a way that everyone can understand without having to dumb it down for anyone.

The other one that is pretty good is the Become the Knight guy, though he reacts to people reacting to certain bands as often as reacts to the bands themselves.
