If you haven't heard their most recent album Mammoth Waltz its pretty extraordinary. Sounds like nothing they have done before.

Plus Coteau Guidry on there features cajun french vocals from Scarlett Johansson

Fantastic band. Hard to describe Mamouth Waltz - kinda like Cajun meets The Velvet Underground meets Daniel Lanois. Regardless, great album and the band puts on a great show.

Saw them at least 4 times in New Orleans between the Super Bowl, Hogs for the Cause, Jazz Fest and FQ Fest. Each time they played, the band was tighter and the crowds were getting bigger. These guys are definietly on the way.

I've known their old drummer for over 20 years. Although I guess this isn't relevant since he's no longer in the band.
