Live music recommendations for the aged.

Serious inquiry.
Full disclosure. Sixty-five. 40 yrs married to same girl. Pretty far right conservative with a strong live, let live streak. Old school orthodox Anglican. Enjoy the fellowship of conversation and drink.
Love live music. 60's/70's rock, county rock, Motown, Jazz (particularly Hammond B-3, piano jazz, Jimmy Smith/Paul Desmond), Blues, especially old Led Zeppelin first album, Mike Bloomfield, Stevie Ray, Bonamassa, et al.
Paid my way through college roofing and playing drums-so I know a little about live gigs.
Looking for recommendations where someone like me can show up, have a few wee drams (or more), shoot the shite with folks, listen to good musicians, and not come off as weird or creepy.
Downvote at will, but it's an honest question. I figured if anyone had some ideas they would likely haunt the Rant.

Yes, Baton Rouge, but New Orleans is also in play occasionally. I have old high school/college friends there.
Thanks. Phil Brady's is on Government I recall.

Great link. Thank you. Saw three possibilities immediately plus Chris LeBlanc.

Chorum Hall for Jazz
Bee Nice concerts for mostly acoustic acts
Dyson House for singer/songwriters, cajun, rockabilly, and folk acts
Phil Brady's and Teddy's for blues and rock
Red Dragon for grammy award winning songwriters
The Varsity for big rock acts
Drive to the Paragon for washed up has-beens from the 70's and 80's.
You would never feel out of place at Phil's. Despite the fact that they book a fair amount of young original rock bands, their clientele is mostly middle-age and retirees, old bluesmen. Their thursday night blues jams look like a 50 year high school reunion, and all the players know each other and shoot the shite on stage. It's a good time. They also do something similar on Sunday evenings in Prarieville at Fat Cats.
The only place where you might be even remotely out of place as an old dude would be The Varsity (depending purely on the band, especially since most rock acts result in a crowd filled with 30-40 year-old dads) or the Spanish Moon. Even then, if you're not hitting on 18 year-olds and just hanging out with your wife or a buddy and drinking, I doubt anyone would bat an eye. There's always a few older folks enjoying the music or playing pool at any of these venues.
If anything, live music around BR is an old man's game.
As far as band's go, you would probably really enjoy Chris Leblanc, as mentioned, as well as Jonathan Boogie Long, The Hitchhiker, Bayou Bullets, Oleskies, Walter Wolfman Washington, Chase Tyler, Hip Boot Joe, Anders Osbourne, North Mississippi Allstars, Captain Green, and Alabaster Stag.
All of those bands have pretty obvious blues, country, or motown/funk influences, and all are from BR or New Orleans.

Guilty as charged.
You don't care for the Eagles? Poco? Loggins & Messina? Graham Parsons? Emmylou Harris?
The ears want what the ears want I guess.

Agree on all those. MTB "Can't You See". Great stuff. Under appreciated for sure.
Just noticed what someone caught in my post. "county rock" Hysterical! Said I must have meant "parish rock". Funny stuff.
Parish rock back when I was a kid would have been Orleans, and Jefferson. The Glory Rhodes, The Palace Guards, and The Gaunga Dyns and Battles of the Bands at Lakeside Mall by the fountain in front of the Western Auto before Lakeside was closed in and sponsored by Werlein's Music Store.
