these guys have just been around freaking forever.

csb: first time I ever saw them was in like 1985 in the LSU union of all places! they came out with socks over their privates..and nothing else..and LSU popo shut them down about 10 minutes in

I think bands were banned from the LSU Union for like 4 years after that

Last album was in 2010. I never seen songs from it on Sirius. Thankfully, they still play Evil, Slow Hands, PDA, Heinrich, etc.

Right now I am on a serious modest mouse kick... ever since the thread a month back.

So:

Modest Mouse
Purity Ring
Zeds Dead(essential mix)
Wild Nothing
Chevelle

Drive-by Truckers
Hold Steady
Man Man
Deer Tick
Frightened Rabbit
Cloud Nothings
Titus Andronicus

DBT and THS might be sliding off my list as they move into their "elder statesmen" period.

Widespread Panic
Grateful Dead

Railroad Earth
Warren Haynes band
Allman Bros.

I mostly listen to music in my car and I only have a 10 minute commute to school so I don't get to branch out as much with my music as I'd like
