I've heard some of his older stuff never knew the album names. I just like how he talks about real shite you know? like politics and war and stuff.

Lil Wayne got very popular in those years and was probably the most listened to guy for a couple of years..

It seemed he released new mixtapes all the time and was featured in tons of songs. Everyone wanted him on their remixs. He used to be on everybodys shite it seemed lol.

He overexposed himself there for a while. There was no escaping him.

I just hope dedication 4 has nothing to do with rock, 1-3 were all pretty good. That was vintage lil Wayne.

I actually really liked that rock album he put out. I'm in the minority, but I thought it was fantastic.

I think the song "Knockout" is the best he's ever done.

Holy crap. 829?

Actually, that makes sense. I have 217 B.o.B songs on my computer, and Lil Wayne has been at it a lot longer.

Oh, and Food N Liquor and The Cool by Lupe are classics and makes Lasers look like horse shite.

Food N Liquor 2 is going to be amazing!!

1. Do lil wayne enthusiasts prefer his mixtape stuff or his album stuff
I'm not really into Wayne, or rap for that matter, but his mix tapes are very good. People that don't have a terrible taste in music will prefer his mix tapes. like Soulja said, Dedication 2 is very good.

Walk it off is my favorite song on any dedication tape.

Its not dominoes it's digiorno. That mixtape came out my senior year of high school. Brings back so many awesome memories when those songs pop up on my ipod.

Only one mention of The Suffix in here. That and Drought 3 are my favorite Wayne mixtapes. Love Carter II. Carter III is good and his era around it was amazing and never will be touched commercially by a rapper as far as being on pretty much every single radio song across many genres. That said, Wayne was never lyrically the best at any certain time, IMO. Since the C3 era, he has been complete garbage. No Ceilings was alright to me. C4 was terrible.

I usually check out Wayne's new songs and projects just because he was one of the people that got me into rap, so I'll give this a listen. The only song I've liked of his lately is Kiss The Game Goodbye. Unimpressed with recent features of his.
