I just hope dedication 4 has nothing to do with rock, 1-3 were all pretty good. That was vintage lil Wayne.

I haven't listened to Wayne lately at all, but I am looking forward to this one. Walk it off is my favorite song on any dedication tape.

The first two are classic, with the second edition up there in hip hop's highest echelon, but D3 fricking sucked. You might be confusing it with Da Drought 3, which was another great one and right up there with D2.

I fully agree his material post CIII is crap, but you can't deny that he literally was the best rapper alive during that legendary period from late '05 to summer '08

No Ceilings is a quasi diamond in the rough for post CIII Weezy but it doesn't compare to the twin towers of Dedication 2/Da Drought 3.

I wouldnt be too excited about this if I were you guys. Been a while since he put out any good music.

I'm sure plenty of people can and would deny that.
I cant remember exactly who released what in that period, but I'd likely take Lupe over him probably a few others.

People that know nothing about hip hop. Just because Lil Wayne is lame now doesnt mean he always was. Like I said earlier Da Drought 3 and especially Dedication 2 are some of the strongest hip hop releases of all time.

I think you are severely overrating Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne got very popular in those years and was probably the most listened to guy for a couple of years..

It seemed he released new mixtapes all the time and was featured in tons of songs. Everyone wanted him on their remixs. He used to be on everybodys shite it seemed lol.

Food & Liquor and The Cool. And they are much better than Lasers.

How many mixtapes has Lil Wayne put out? Like 30?

Two questions:
1. Do lil wayne enthusiasts prefer his mixtape stuff or his album stuff?
2. What are his best mixtapes?

Oh I agree with all of that. He's extremely popular now too though, his sales are as good as ever and he isnt even making good music.

B.o.B vs. Bobby Ray is my fav ever mixtape. It's better than both his albums, imo.
