My second favorite band of all time.
Remember seeing them at Chelseas on the SRO tour, probably 30 people in the old building, maybe 10 there for the show.
Isbell was fat as all get out.
That album and Decoration Day were the soundtrack to my time in Tampa (2004-2008). I ended up seeing them about 30-40 times in that time frame.
They played a two nighter in Charleston at the Music Farm that was a phenomenal show. Also saw Cooley solo in Gainesville and have seen Isbell solo, with the Trio (AWESOME), and the 400 unit about 20 times.
I can ramble on about DBT for days.
Decoration Day is probably my overall favorite album.
My favorite song is the Assassin cover by Isbell (off Hood's solo album).
