Not if Bonham were alive. He'd hit David Byrne between the eyes with a bottle of Svedka and laugh in his face.

Or are we talking metaphorically as a band?

I'll take the hard-boozin' British neo-Viking band over the East Coast Liberal Art House Punks any day if we are throwing hands. Unless Byrne is some sort of Krav Maga freak or something.

No matter how many times I've Listened to "when the levee breaks" that opening drum beat ... I feel that all the way to my toes it's so deep . Never gets old.

Huge Zep fan but I switch stations on the radio when Kashmir comes on. It's just too plodding for my tastes. I can't put it in the ssme class as their other rock classics. Am I alone here?

No. Maybe my least liked Zep song. I pop over to another station too or go to CD mode.

When I grew up, waiting on the next Zep album was an anxious period of time. Waiting on Houses and PG seemed like an eternity.

Been listening to them since I was a high schooler in the 80s. Got burned out on them (and the classic rock genre overall) by the late 90s, however if I listen to any of their first six albums I am still amazed at how good they are. As someone mentioned Physical Graffitti is pure, raw, rock.
