Cant wait to hit the road to see them again.
And before you 20 yr olds jump in and say they suck.....you wont say that if you ever saw them live.

I'm well beyond my 20's and I think they suck more now than they did in 1975 which was a pretty high degree of suckage.

I honestly would not go to a Kiss concert if it was free and I had back stage passes.

Agreed he is a first rate jerk. Their music is not the best per say, but you cannot deny they played a major roll in influencing a lot of rock music even up to today.

their live shows from back in the day were awesome...they didnt do anything special or revolutionary musically but they did create an awesome stage persona and rock concert setting
bunch of haters in this thread...they were a band that wanted to get famous, make money and bang bitches, period. they never set out to be musical geniuses

but they embraced it. they were a bunch of nerdy jewish guys in New York that turned into fricking rockstars with a huge loyal fanbase

saw them with Bruce Kulick & Eric Carr-- imo, the two best musicians they've ever had.
Those guys knew how to put on a show. No expense was spared when it came to stage & lightshows. They sounded tight and they performed with a lot of energy.
Their latest single isn't bad. anyone that says they didn't put some good hard rock through the years probably never gave them a chance to begin with.
my biggest issue is putting ace's & peter's makeup face on thayer & singer. gene & paul
should have enough respect for everyone & give those guys their own character.
kiss is going to have a hard time following motley crue. those guys still put on a killer. show. vince neil doesn't sound very good, but the other guys do and they usually have a slew of half naked chicks running around onstage to take your attention away from vince's singing.

Also......I have been to probably 500 live shows over 30 years and will still say they are the best live show STILL going.
