Does the current political climate make you want to listen to more Kid Rock? I have never been a big Kid Rock fan minus his unabashed white trashness, but now I feel everyone who doesn't suck the dick of political correctness needs to learn a lesson or two from his songs about not capitulating to the mob/embracing who you are.

“All Summer Long” is horrendous, but I do like how un-PC he is whenever he speaks.

Imagine listening to music you don’t enjoy, just so you can “own the libs”

If hating liberals drives you to Kid Rock, they’re winning.

I really like Kid Rock. He will be 50 next year so maybe he should change his name to Adult Rock but his music is awesome and political views are spot on.

In the immortal words of Hank III,

Just so you know, so it's set in stone, Kid Rock don't come from where I come from

Yeah, it's true he's a Yank, he ain't no son of Hank, and if ya thought so, God damn, you're frickin' dumb.

No. Generally, I don't base my musical tastes around an artist's politcal leanings.

I feel like you're reading too much into the meaning of Bawitdaba.

I will say this, I enjoy Kid Rock's old stuff. It may be cheesy, but Bawitdaba, Cowboy, Bullgod and American Badass are fun. I don't even consider it a guilty pleasure. People who can't admit they liked Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit for a reason have gotten too stiff.

I don't care about his or any musician's politics, but I was always surprised how much I got into his music. Still listen and bought many of his CDs back in the day.
