This Album will be one of the most important albums of all time. Mark my words. This shite is more than music, it's legendary.

I agree. I loved gkmc and I can respect the production quality and artistry of this album but I don't care for the music itself and I think people are gushing over it because they feel like they're supposed to. I like Kendrick best on tracks like the recipe and ADHD where he's got that smooth flow. Not background singers and jazz/blues beats. Just my opinion
That being said I did like "king kunta", "alright", and "momma"

You like smooth production, but don't like this album?
Noted.
Either way, I agree, Kendrick shadows a lot of what made Outkast great. Critics outside of the South will eat it up though, as they should.

I gotta say I really like this album; and I don't think it's because I was expecting to or was supposed to.
I try to give albums a clear first run as a complete work; I dont even really care much for checking for singles and such (though I should since I work in the hip hop industry).
To me, I just really enjoyed it; first album in awhile I've been excited to get back home and give it another run through.

GKMC was alot different from his mixtapes and other works. TPAB is more of kendricks style. I think it's a great album. I like Forest Hills better but I do agree we will enjoy this album wayyy more years from now

Forest Hills is my jam and overall I perfer Cole to Kendrick but I don't know I just really like this album.

It is a solid album but I like GKMC a lot more

GKMC is more gangsta rap hard beats but still tells a story about kendrick growing up....kendrick on TPAB got back to funky beats and called out society in america
