I don't know much of her music- I know she was revered in the UK not so much in the US.
My wife has always liked her

Thanks for making this thread.
Hounds of Love is still good music to hear. I think it was ahead of its time.

First heard her on WTUL late one night in 1986 singing Wuthering Heights and fell in love.
I raise you one Games without Frontiers, her first collaboration with Peter Gabriel albeit minor backing vocals.
Still have all of her albums up to The Whole Story on Vinyl.
David Gilmour helped her get started.....I'm sure he did.

You are a great fan, indeed.
I do like her Hounds of Love.
I am a big fan of Peter Gabriel's music, especially during his time with Genesis.
Yes, Peter Gabriel created some very nice collaborations with Kate Bush AND with Laurie Anderson "This is the Picure. Excellent Birds".

A little bit of misdirection but this song reminded me of a funny time back in the early 80's. There was a new-wave cover band that played very often at the Caterie on Perkins in BR. I don't remember the band's name but the bass player (Dave) lived next door to me. They were really very good and were playing this song one night. During this song the lyrics "Jeux sans frontiere" came up-and they sang it as "She's so funky now!". I had the album and lyrics and had to tell Dave that they had blown the lyrics. Sorry for the rant and memories...
