While we're at it, how about an Anders Osborne show at Chelsea's?

He is definitely too big for Chelsea's. His show there in January 2011 was, as always, fricking awesome

Probably would be at the Varsity these days

hey gents .... i had two holds for John for October, but they decided to go back to the Red Dragon (totally get it since i don't have a true venue for him in BR). Should get him in the Beatnik in late winter or early spring, so feel like I'm their main target for NOLA.

Now ...... there are a few developments about the resurgence of M+W. Very promising partnership brewing and would give us an option at 450+ when needed. And let me say it would be an incredible venue after we are done with it. Target is a Jan opening.

In the meantime, I am in ATL for the remainder of the year on a big comedy. Check out the Beatnik facebook page because there is some good stuff coming. And i will check on Anders ..... anything is possible and Chelseas has some room.

That's not helping me much in 2014.

He's playing Jefferson Street Pub in Lafayette on 8/7. How big is that place?

That is a solo acoustic show. BR should definitely try to land the full band.

full band it is. But ...... if it's a solo affair at Chelsea's that could be more manageable money wise and likely to work out. Either way - i'm on it.

I don't know the business side as much as you but I do know that the electric Anders experience is one of the best shows going right now. Acoustic would be great too but the full band is just on a completely different level.
