Do you people who are saying it requires NO TALENT what so ever have any minor grain of musical background in you?

Do you realize how insanely difficult it is to compose ANY GENRE of music.

and I don't mean write I mean compose, one person taking every aspect of the music and controlling it?

Now I'm not a big fan of dubstep (there are many other edm genres I do enjoy) but I would absolutely love for some of you hacks to try to compose it.

I'm waiting as well...

Takes a whole lot of musical vision to compose a good track, whether in a traditional band with instruments or on a computer

Can someone link me a good dubstep song?

I listened to Jam On in my wife's car a lot on road trips recently, and after around midnight they start 'Jamtronica'. Bassnector was the only name that stood out but it was fairly entertaining music.

Nothing you would sit around and listen to at 8pm on a Wednesday, but that isn't what it is designed for either. At least that is my understanding; and admittedly I know next to nothing about this genre of music.

Not interested. I wouldn't argue that it is easy to make this music.

I just don't get into club music very easily.

Very disappointing. Bonnaroo was a great festival.

Dubstep is one of the most, if not the most (modern county is up there) puzzling music "fads" ever. Consider this: almost ANYONE (read: someone who can download music software) can produce this stuff. It is very simple. The live shows attract a questionable audience that appears to be on drugs. Everyone I know either hates (majority) or loves the shite.

What does TD say on dubstep? Yay or Nay?

subtract dubstep... add rap. blacks be mad bruh. whites are jumping in the market on shitty music.

Since it is so easy to make you have a week to post up some beats

Eta if you can't make one song at least 5 minutes long then you should be banned

This is one of the most idiotic posts I have ever read on here, and obviously the OP has no musical background. Either that or he is trolling. What an insult to great producers like Datsik, Caspa, Rusko, Nero, Excision, etc.

Just an example this is what happens when you take Skrillex's "noise to torture people" and convert it to piano.

That is not converted to piano, when it's already a piano piece. it's just a small piano part repeated over and over and it's in the song as a piano part. Why didn't that piano player play the drop to show the musical mastery of skrillex?
