I don't know how many of you privilege of hearing this album but it has many profound and well written songs inspired by the life and times of Billy the Kid. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll gain a little respect for his song writing abilities I think.

My favorite track:

Santa Fe

Got it on cassette for my 10 year old birthday in 92. Huge fan of Billy the Kid history and Young Guns 1 and 2 to this damn day. Great westerns.

you have too much faith in the people on this board. If it's not rap or some other hacks, most can't give it any credit.
As for Young Guns 2, it's got some good songs. Sante Fe, Miracle, & Billy get Your Guns are tops for me. Sante Fe & Miracle have some of my favorite lyrics.
Although I thought jon did a respectable job with it, I don't think it comes close to being as good as Richie Sambora's his first two solo records.
