I am not a huge fan of Johns solo career or John in general but figured some people would want to know.
My favorite John solo songs are Watching the Wheels and Just Like (Starting Over).

Why? Lots of quality singles, Imagine is a good album, and Plastic Ono Band is a great album.

He's 3rd place out of the 4 Beatles Solo careers IMO. I dunno, just doesn't do it for me really. I like about 5 or 6 songs of his.

I have always preferred John's voice to Paul and George's, personally.
