Do you really care to hear Jane talk about how fat Becky has gotten since she started eating Wendy's everyday for lunch?

I sure as hell don't. I'm there to listen to the guy on stage

I thought that was a common theme when it comes to red dirt

I'll do my part.

I always swell with pride whenever one of the regulars at M+W tells a particularly noisy group to quiet down.

We have a good fanbase for the most part there.

Red dirt shows are typically loud full band affairs. I wouldn't have a clue what the fat bitches are talking about in a red dirt show

Yep. I've been to my fair share of jam band shows with quite a few different acts. Generally just a bunch wooks and trustafarian dudes

I get to see John tonight

Also, his new album is now available for pre-order on iTunes. This man is going to do big things. Hard to believe he's only 25...he's an old soul.

I definitely will. I have no doubt that it will be brilliant, as always.

And if you get Fullbright at M+W, that would be worth a drive in for me. My favorite artists in one of my favorite rooms. Love it.

Well. That was freaking fantastic. I swear he gets better every time I see him.

It was a sold-out show of about 300 people (theater seating) and you could have heard a pin drop. I have NEVER seen an artist command the attention of a room the way John does. He played quite a few new ones, including a beautiful, still-untitled song about stars that moved me to tears. He received a well-deserved standing ovation.

He's just brilliant.
