Gonna be cold....40 will be low up there Friday night. So maybe 50 with a strong wind. Don't wear flip flops.

No rain with this front. And the weather guy must be a parrot head as he gave the forecast for the show start time.....65...dropping into the 50s by the end.

I know a couple of people that saw him in ATL this week an had an awesome time. Granted, if you can go to a Jimmy Buffet concert and not have fun you probably just suck as a person.

I went a couple of years ago for the frisco concert. Had a blast! We got there around noon and parked in the fields and just tailgated all day. We had originally planned to take a walk around to enjoy the sights (parrotheads can be pretty damn creative), but we ended up just partying with the people we were parked next to all day and didn't move.
Its a full blown tailgate all day, so you can have alcohol out there and bring your grills if you want to cook. And Buffett has a wide range of fans as far as ages go - They'll be a large group of 20 year olds partying it up and then a few spots down will be a large group of 40-50 year olds partying it up, haha. So it isn't hard to meet people or combine your party with another if that's what you want to do.
Edit: Actually, we got there earlier than that. We sat and drank for a bit before firing the grill up around lunch time. So I am a little fuzzy on what time we actually pulled up. But its a jimmy buffett day - if things aren't a little fuzzy for you afterwards then you did something wrong. ha!

We're going with a huge group on August 17th at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA. I splurged on orchestra pit seating so we'll be seeing old Mr. Buffett up close this time.

IS the show at the soccer stadium in Frisco? I saw him there a few years ago now that I think about it. It's a nice venue. The fields around it were full of parrotheads tailgating. Good times
